Leaning on its long journey in the safeguarding of the arts, and their dissemination through exhibitions of international standards, Layan pursues its vision of nurturing artistic appreciation in the minds and hearts of the Saudi people.
By fostering interest in the arts, Layan will ensure artists and enthusiasts are not only supported, but also inspired to embark on their own cultural journey as a vital component of their personal growth, and their society’s progress.
A PIONEERING & OUTSTANDING PATH
Following a rich, three-decade-long experience in supporting artists and the arts before its inception-including theater, music, and abstract art, Layan was officially established in 2007 by HH Prince Faissal Bin Abdallah Bin Mohammad Al Saud, with the support and contribution of HRH Princess Adelah Bint Abdallah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; and that with the strong belief that art is an engine for our culture and values, and a link between our people, their nation, and its heritage.
