Elisabeth Ronget was a French artist with German origin She received a classical education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Coming from expressionism she will evolve towards cubism until she reaches abstraction. In this work the camel is the center of the composition. The master has only a secondary place, painted tone on tone, barely haloed with white lines. The camel is more detailed, its head turned towards its master, motionless in this cubist composition.
